Rockstar says you won’t be limited to just modding the Install GTA 5 Mods , but GTA Online doesn’t require mods. So, if you have mods installed, it is very important that you play the game offline or don’t forget to turn off all mods before going online. Many mods can be disabled there, but not all. Therefore, if you plan to play GTA Online with a single player game, be careful with the mods you install.
1-Script Hook V Needs For Install GTA 5 Mods
Most of the mods available are scripts, you need the latest version of Script Hook created by Alexander Blade for them to work.
This is the link provided by Blade to download Script Hook V . Make sure to use the download link in the footer right: the post on the page says these are also available for download.
The compressed file has a folder named “bin” with three files in it.
8.dll: This is actually the ASI installer that lets you install libraries with the .asi extension.
ScriptHookV.dll: This allows custom scripts to be used in GTA 5.
NativeTrainer.
Rebel: You don’t need this teacher, but he’s there if you need him. It allows many cheats like changing your appearance, changing the time of day, teleporting, immunity and more in a single player.
Put Dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll (and trainer if needed) in the GTA 5 game directory where GTA5 is located.
It is based on exe. On Steam it is “Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V”.
is almost there! Most of the script mods you download will have .asi files that you can put in the same folder, but some will have some additional files.
Be sure to check the installation instructions of the mods you downloaded.

In addition to ScriptHook, some mods such as Enhanced Train Driver and Ragdoll on Demand scripts require LUA plugins. Here is the download link. In the zip file you will find:
A folder Known as a “scripts”
A file known as a LUA_SDK.asi
Download them all and put them in your GTA 5 game directory with ScriptHook. There is a folder called “addins” in the Scripts folder.

The ‘Add-ons’ folder is where you put the .lua files for mods that use them.

4-OpenIV
If you’ve used mods in GTA 4, you’ve probably used OpenIV to do this. This is a very useful feature that allows editing and saving GTA game files and is currently in development for GTA 5. mod page.
Note that OpenIV makes actual changes to game files, so we recommend making a backup copy of the game files you modify.
You can download the latest version of OpenIV from the official website.

5-Configuration and Mod Manager Install GTA 5 Mods
Most mods have their own keys and controls. Some are customizable and some are not. If you plan on using a lot of mods (as I did this week), your keyboard will quickly become cluttered with all the mods fighting for space. Tip: If you try a mod and don’t want to use it anymore, delete the file before you forget it, otherwise try using the same key you will run into some conflicts based on different mods.
Another way to solve this is to download the controller mod.
Currently there are many options to choose from, but probably the most popular is a function called “GTAV Mod Manager”. Developed by Bilago, this is a management tool that allows you to have all your mods in one place and enable or disable them as needed.
GTA V takes some time to install and run the mod manager. Bilago himself has posted a comprehensive guide on Youtube, but note that it is several years old and does not include installing mods with some games (eg Epic Store version). There is also an FAQ that covers some of the more common errors users encounter.
